A Movie Not to Be Missed

An extraordinary movie opens this weekend in 650 theaters across the country. It compellingly depicts the criminal investigation into and prosecution of America’s worst serial killer. It may become one of the most socially impactful films of all time.

“Gosnell” is named for the doctor whose abortion clinic in Philadelphia became an appallingly unsanitary factory for murdering not only unborn children, but some born alive and at least one of the mothers. It searingly portrays the perpetrator’s unspeakable indifference to the lives he was terminating, the suffering of the survivors and the costs to society.

“Gosnell” is showing after pro-abortion forces and their allies vociferously opposed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination and in the run-up to a momentous mid-term election. Everyone troubled by the former and voting in the latter should see the film this critical, opening weekend.
