I’ve long warned about the effects of an unlikely collaboration between a top jihadist named Abdurahman Alamoudi and prominent anti-tax activist Grover Norquist. The now-jailed Islamist’s purpose was to influence – and subvert – the conservative movement and Republican Party.

Yesterday, Glenn Beck expressed grave concern about Norquist, whom he described as “a very bad man,” and the prospect that he might be reelected in balloting now underway to a seat on the board of directors of the National Rifle Association. Glenn announced that such an eventuality might prompt him to cease his longstanding involvement with the NRA.

The National Rifle Association is too important an organization and its work too vital to our Second Amendment freedoms to have it diminished by further association with Grover Norquist. I’m with Glenn Beck: No on Norquist.
