Joseph W. Donner is a founding member of the Center for Security Policy and Board of Regents. He graduated from Princeton University in 1950, studied at Harvard Law and then spent three years as a Foreign Science Officer. He began his career on Wall Street working at First Boston Corp and then at Cyrus J. Lawrence where he was a partner and Vice-President. In 1980 Joe left Wall Street and earned his PhD in British History at Columbia. Joe has also served on the board for the William H. Donner Foundation, the Donner Canadian Foundation, the National Review, and the Guggenheim Museum. Since 2000 he has been an overseer at the Hoover Institute. Joe currently lives in New York City with his wife Pam. They have four children, one of whom is also a Regent.
