Bill Criminalizing FGM Works Its Way Through South Carolina Legislature
A bill to criminalize female genital mutilation (FGM) in South Carolina passed the House sub-committee easily and unanimously this morning and is likely to pass full House committee soon with similar ease. The next hurdle will be South Carolina state Senate.
