Today’s Communist Insurrection

The violence plaguing many of America’s major cities may be seen by some as a reaction to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, but a closer examination indicates that there is much more involved. The violence has largely been perpetrated by Antifa and the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. Antifa is Maoist in its philosophy and BLM was founded by self-described Marxists. What we are seeing is in fact a communist insurrection aimed squarely at the United States Constitution.
In the 22 July webinar Center for Security Policy Director for State Outreach Christopher Holton and award-winning author and columnist Diana West discussed the communist movement and influence operations in America today.
It was abundantly clear early on that the riots, looting and violent protests that have occurred in many of America’s cities were not a spontaneous reaction to the killing of George Floyd but, rather a coordinated, planned event waiting to be unleashed. The insurrection is occurring in cities politically controlled by the Left and officials in those cities are not strenuously opposing the violence. In fact, some seem to be condoning the violence.
This communist-led insurrection has to be considered in the context of our president who has been kept under siege throughout his presidency by members of the “Swamp.” In fact, two of the most prominent figures associated with what Diana West refers to as the “rolling coup,” former CIA director John Brennan and former FBI director James Comey, admitted to communist ties in their past.
The Black Lives Matter movement was founded by self-described “trained” Marxists. West reveals where that training came from in the first place.
America has received a rude awakening in the midst of the Wuhan virus pandemic. An underlying communist movement has been infecting America for many years as the country slumbered under the notion that we had won the Cold War and that communism was no longer a threat. The fact is, as Diana West has explained in her work, America sent its sons overseas to fight communism but never really fought communism on the homefront. We’re now seeing the results.
The upcoming national election is a crossroads. The result will determine whether America battles back against the forces we see besieging our president and spreading violence in our cities or embraces those same forces, perhaps to the demise of our constitutional republic.
