An Alternative to Obama’s Unacceptable Strategy

Yesterday, President Obama sought congressional approval of the use of military force against the Islamic State. The jihadists in Iraq and Syria, let alone those elsewhere around the world, must be relieved.

Mr. Obama proposes more of the same: limited air strikes against a small, if particularly dangerous, part of the global jihad movement. As with his conduct as Commander-in-Chief to date, his “strategy” will embolden, not defeat – let alone destroy – our enemies.

An international summit convening today in Washington will make plain why business as usual can no longer be tolerated. Freedom fighters from around the world will make the case for doing what we must: wage war against the global jihad and its driving ideology of shariah in a concerted and decisive fashion.
