As military folks’ remaining time in uniform winds down, they sometimes speak frankly to a degree that someone still hoping for promotion would never dream of doing. This newfound willingness to speak truth to power is known as “getting short.”

The outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff seems to be “getting short” – and that could be a problem for Team Obama’s efforts to mislead us about its flawed nuclear deal with Iran. For example, General Martin Dempsey recently said Iran will use the billions it obtains to “invest in their surrogates; I think they will invest in additional military capability.”

In short, we will confront increased threats from Iranian-backed terrorists, like Hamas and Hezbollah, and from the mullahs’ own armed forces.

This deal will endanger us, and must be rejected.
