The death of a thousand self-inflicted cuts continues to cause Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign to hemorrhage political support. Recently, she tried to staunch the bleeding by announcing she “take[s] responsibility” for not having used a government server for her official emails.

But just what does that mean? Is Hillary taking responsibility for having breached federal regulations – and her own policies – by treating classified information in a way that virtually ensured it would be compromised? She either knew, or had a duty to know, that’s what she was doing.

Or is she taking responsibility for giving Huma Abedein – a woman with extensive personal and family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood – routine access to extremely sensitive U.S. government and foreign-supplied data?

Truly taking responsibility would mean pleading guilty to criminal charges – and Hillary is certainly not doing that.
