Yesterday was “Adoption Day” for President Obama’s appallingly bad deal with Iran. It might better be described as “Orphan Day” since Iran’s Supreme Leader continues to signal that his government hasn’t adopted it. Worse, Iran’s conduct to date makes clear the Obamabomb deal won’t ameliorate the mullahs’ threatening behavior.

Since this agreement was unveiled: Iran has sent its terror chief to Moscow, where it is believed he finalized plans for the Russian-Iranian incursions into Syria; Iran is sandbagging international inspectors; Iran tested an advanced ballistic missile that even some U.S. officials say violates the deal; and the Iranian government has neither signed approved nor approved the text presented to Congress.

All that’s before Tehran gets $150 billion in frozen assets.

If President Obama lifts sanctions under these circumstances, he’ll not just be perpetrating national security fraud. He’ll be committing treason.
