Thanks in large measure to Barack Obama’s appalling legacy, the next president is going to inherit a world of hurt. To understand the various threats we will be facing, and what steps might mitigate them, will require access to highly classified intelligence.

Once the major political parties select their presidential nominees, the candidates have traditionally been given such access. Never before, however, has the FBI determined that one of those nominees has been “extremely careless” with classified information.

After serially lying about her misconduct in this regard for months, Hillary Clinton has adopted the line that it was mistake to use an unprotected, home-brew server for all of her official emails and promises she won’t do it again.

No one else in America with her record of what amounts to criminally “gross negligence” would be given the chance. Hillary shouldn’t either.
