Hungarian Ambassador Dr. László Szabó on Immigration and the Preservation of European Culture
Ambassador of Hungary to the United States Dr. László Szabó spoke at the Westminster Institute on themes of Islamic immigration to Europe and the persecution of Christians worldwide. He related the assertive and successful Hungarian response to the 2015 wave of migrants in the EU, and drew attention to the neglected 200+ million persecuted Christians who account for “4 out of 5” of those persecuted for their religion on earth.
Dr. Szabó was appointed Ambassador of Hungary to the United States in July 2017, and previously served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 2014-2017.
