Uh-oh! – AMLO’s Victory Makes a Wall Mandatory
This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador isn’t an easy name for Americans to remember. But the victor in yesterday’s Mexican presidential election is universally known by his acronym, which is easily recalled since AMLO rhymes, appropriately, with “Uh, oh.”
Despite AMLO’s assurances that he seeks a “respectful and cooperative” relationship with the United States, that seems highly unlikely. After all, he is a radical leftist in the mold of Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, whose disastrous legacy we don’t want next door. And he considers Mexican and other migration to the U.S. to be a “human right” he’ll facilitate – a formula for mass penetration of our border.
We need a wall. Until we get it built, security would be greatly enhanced by quickly turning back on Blue Servo’s highly effective “virtual fence” along the Texan border – and expanding it to illegals’ major crossing points elsewhere.
