Paging POTUS – Protect Us from Gulftainer

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro has raised a much-needed alarm about a serious national security threat.  On Saturday, she and Rep. Duncan Hunter established that UAE-based Gulftainer is a company that shouldn’t be anywhere near U.S. ports, let alone running two of them.

Congressman Hunter observed that Gulftainer is co-owned by the family of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear bomb-maker.  And it has a joint venture with a Russian company that exports the Club-K system – which conceals a launcher for four cruise missiles inside what looks like an ordinary shipping container.  These missiles can be equipped with weapons of mass destruction.

Government bureaucrats have failed to address the inherent danger posed by such a company and permitted it to manage container operations at Port Canaveral, Florida and the port of Wilmington, Delaware.  President Trump must protect our ports – and us – from Gulftainer.
