Pray for Justice Kavanaugh and His Supporters
This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
Brett Kavanaugh is now Justice Kavanaugh, thank heaven. He was formally sworn in last night at the White House and used the occasion to make the sort of dignified, gracious statement that has characterized his many years of distinguished public service – and that suggests he’ll be one of the best ever to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.
President Trump used the occasion to apologize to the new Justice and his family for “the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure.” It speaks volumes about the perpetrators of this damage that the Kavanaughs – including their small children – seem likely to continue to be subjected to more pain and suffering for the foreseeable future.
So might Senators who supported Brett Kavanaugh, like Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, who courageously cast the deciding vote.
They deserve our thanks, and need our prayers.
