Western media are dangerously MIA on the Chinese Communist Party threat

Last week, Chinese dictator Xi Jinping marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Transnational Criminal Organization doing business as the Chinese Communist Party with a speech notable for its overtly menacing content. Xi’s nationalist diatribe threatened Taiwan and warned the rest of the world of dire consequences if they challenged his country’s “Steel Great Wall.”

What was particularly troubling about this ominous celebration of one of history’s most infamous events – after all, some 500 million Chinese men, women, children and unborn infants have perished at the CCP’s hands over the past century – was the response of the Western press. Most reports failed to convey the dangerous implications of Xi’s content and tone. Many were actually laudatory.

Americans are dangerously ill-served by the illusion that Xi and his party are other than mortal enemies of our country and freedoms.
