Houthis attack US Air Force base in Abu Dhabi
The Houthi missiles fired at the US Al-Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi were manufactured in Iran and assembled using Chinese products.
The US fired two Patriot interceptor missiles that hit the two incoming missiles.
The missiles were the Zolfaghar type, which is a longer range variant of the Fateh-110 (a range of about 700 km). The guidance system and related steering components came from China. The missile is solid fueled and contains a cluster munitions warhead (designed to kill troops).
In short this was a direct attack by the houthis aimed at a US base –the second attack in a week.
The Biden administration has embraced the Houthis, removed them from the terrorist list and penalized Saudi Arabia and the UAE for going after the houthi insurgents. This shameful policy now directly impacts the security of US forces thanks to Biden and Blinken’s rotten policies.
