Islamic supremacism took more victims yesterday. By some accounts, more than 2000 Nigerians – were massacred by a murderous group calling itself Boko Haram, which means “Western education is forbidden.”

Like its counterpart in Iraq and Syria, this group has declared itself a caliphate. It happens, though, that the area it controls is estimated to be five-times larger than that being despotically ravaged in the Middle East by the so-called Islamic State.

The most important thing the two have in common, however, is what they share with all the other jihadist organizations and nations in the world: a commitment to the imposition of the totalitarian doctrine they call shariah. And as the attacks in France in recent days underscore, that means not just in the Mideast or Africa, but worldwide – including here.
