America’s Hard Left Begins its Latest Love Affair with Our Enemies

The uber-left-wing publication Mother Jones and the George Soros-funded organization Think Progress, both of which have attacked the Center for Security Policy relentlessly, are now reportedly about to embark upon a shameful media “outreach” campaign to the genocidal maniac rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This comes on the heels of President Obama’s ill-advised telephone call with the president of Iran, which the administration is crowing about as if it was the greatest breakthrough in diplomacy since the fall of the Soviet Union.

The Left’s continued infatuation with the Islamists is not only odd and irresponsible, it is hazardous to US national security. The basis of ignorance upon which these initiatives are founded is beyond inexcusable.

This is the equivalent of a combined media/diplomatic outreach campaign aimed at Goebbels, Himmler and Hitler in 1936. But in this case, it could very well be enabling the surpassing of the nuclear threshold by the world’s most active terrorist-sponsoring nation, which has also been waging a clandestine war against America for over 30 years.
