An Ominous Anniversary for Freedom of Speech
Ten years ago, a group most Americans have never heard of launched a “program of action” they definitely don’t know about.
Yet, the decision by what’s now called the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to spend a decade making the entire world conform to shariah blasphemy laws is having a profound impact on this country and its constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech.
Team Obama has worked hard to adhere to – and promote – the idea that Americans should not offend Muslims. The President once declared, “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam.” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton endorsed “old-fashioned techniques of shaming and peer-pressure” to enforce this act of submission to Islamic supremacists.
Recently, Attorney General Loretta Lynch signaled that she would begin using prosecutions to do the same. Expect more jihad, not less, to ensure she does.
