Barry Rubin RIP

The Free World has just lost one of its most brilliant, visionary and tenacious defenders – and it could scarcely come at a worse time.

From a front-line position in his adopted Israel, American Barry Rubin unflinchingly addressed the existential threat to freedom posed by its enemies in the Middle East – and beyond. In more than a dozen books, thousands of articles and blog postings, and countless media appearances and lectures, Dr. Rubin relentlessly waged the war of ideas against those who would destroy the Jewish State and, in turn, the rest of us.
