Bibi speaks to – and for – America

In Congress yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke powerfully to the American people. He made clear that Israel’s war is one of civilization against barbarism, good versus evil.

He declared that victory over his country’s enemies – and ours – is the only acceptable outcome. If we want to keep U.S. “boots” out of this war, we must simply ensure that Israel has the means by which to prevail.

The choice could not have been made more starkly than by the contrast between this powerful and effusively pro-American address on the one hand and the nearby, riotous burning of our flag by a pro-Hamas mob.

Mr. Netanyahu will meet with President Biden and Vice President Harris today. They want to euchre him into accepting a permanent ceasefire and a Palestinian state. In keeping with his enthusiastically applauded remarks yesterday, Bibi must reject both.
