In an exclusive report by “The Epoch Times,’ multiple sources say that top Chinese officials are scrambling to assess the reaction to the war in Iran among Chinese Communist Party members, and the stability of the party. One source says High-ranking officials are repeatedly being told to draw lessons from the collapse of the Soviet Union. Another says that authorities are worried that the protests against the Iranian regime could reverberate within China. NTD discussed this with Grant Newsham, Retired U.S. Marine Colonel, Former U.S. diplomat, and Senior Fellow at the Center for Security Policy for his analysis of the situation.
