“The strongest weapon of the radical left is their vision- their ability to divide a society, to create fear, weaken confidence and to put people against one another- that’s something we certainly are seeing with the CCP virus. We are seeing now that Americans have even less confidence in their institutions. The media is creating a lack of confidence in President Trump and our leadership. They are telling people they are not safe and will never be safe again. This is a devastating signal to send. So, when we have a time of economic distress, when we have a large portion of the country now hunkering down in their own homes wondering if they will ever be able to leave again, the media spreads fear, panic, doubt and tells people the authorities won’t be able to protect them and keep them safe regardless of what President Trump does. Essentially, they create this sense of permanent panic for a permanent crisis.”
Greenfield later expresses his concerns over the size and character of recent coronavirus-related legislation:
“It certainly goes without saying this legislation is bolstering leftist institutions at the expense of any kind of united country. When it came to the so-called relief effort, very quickly money was being funneled into institutions, which is politics as usual, but it was also funneled into political causes. For example, if you are a business and you are receiving coronavirus funding, you are no longer able to oppose unionization in your workplace. Unionization, as we all know, is shorthand for leftist political organizations, which in turn funnel their campaign funding to leftist candidates. So, we are seeing this kind of direct funding of leftist political organizations and suppression of any political activity that opposes the left.”
