De-bunking the attackers of the President’s top terrorism-fighting aides

As the 2004 presidential campaign revs up, supporters of a “regime change” against President Bush are trying to discredit his war against the terrorists.

Even some conservatives are starting to lose heart. They shouldn’t.

Investigative reporter Kenneth Timmerman, author of the important new book, Preachers of Hate: Islam and the War on America, goes deep into the bowels of the Pentagon to see what’s making the stink.

In the latest issue of Insight magazine, Timmerman grabs each critic issue-by-issue and exposes fabrications, distortions, and otherwise sloppy or dishonest reporting and commentary.

It depicts an entirely different picture of the inner workings of the Pentagon where President Bush’s war directives are implemented. A good one, at that.
