Democrats for Iran’s Bomb and Against a Senate Vote
Yesterday, Politico reported that the Obama administration has decided it would be a disaster politically and diplomatically if President Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran gets through Congress thanks to just a small, partisan minority in one house. They understand that would constitute a disastrous public repudiation of the President.
So, his partisans are now working to stave that off – by preventing any Senate vote on the Obamabomb deal.
It’s bad enough that the Congress earlier this year abandoned the constitutional requirement for such a momentous agreement to be approved by two-thirds of the Senate. The administration has admitted it knew the President’s appalling deal would never get that.
But will Democrats now go along with a scheme to keep the Senate from even voting on it? Not if the American people hold them accountable.
