Dirty Cop Comey Beats the Rap – For Now

The release yesterday of the Justice Department Inspector General report about James Comey did not result in his prosecution – yet. But it did clearly establish what the former FBI Director is: a serial liar who repeatedly violated his agency’s policies and corruptly betrayed the public trust. He is, in short, a “dirty cop.”

As it happens, the IG’s investigation bears out the findings of a terrific new book by former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, entitled Ball of Collusion: The Plot to Rig an Election and Destroy a Presidency.

Despite the narrow focus of what is expected to be the first of several reports from Inspector General Michael Horowitz about that conspiracy, we now know that this dirty cop was at the center of Obama administration efforts to assure Hillary Clinton’s victory and, having failed at that, to sabotage the Trump presidency.
