The utter cynicism and lawlessness of the Obama administration was telegraphed yesterday by Labor Secretary Thomas Perez. Perez, one of the front-runners to be our next Attorney General, announced that, after the election, the President will take “aggressive executive action” on immigration.

Translation: Once American voters can no longer punish Team Obama and its partisans in Congress, millions of illegal aliens will be given legal residency status. To add insult to the injury of such a gross and unconstitutional act of presidential overreach, Secretary Perez asserted that the effect will be to bring about more “shared prosperity.

It would be more accurate to call it “redistributed” prosperity. And American voters should use the opportunity of voting this fall to make it clear that this is totally unacceptable – now and after the election.
