Fire Andrew McCabe Now

Andrew McCabe has reportedly deigned to step down as Deputy Director of the FBI next year after he qualifies for a full pension. He should be relieved of his duties immediately.

After all, McCabe has been implicated in acts of egregious partisanship, official corruption and apparent treachery that have brought infamy, not just on himself, but on the FBI.

Especially egregious has been his serial misconduct with respect to Hillary Clinton’s malfeasance.  McCabe’s wife garnered $700,000 from Clinton cronies while he and his subordinates were investigating her email scandal.  They used a Clinton political dirty trick – a fraudulent, Russian-sourced “dossier” – to justify wiretaps and an investigation of the Trump campaign.  And they appear to have plotted to destroy the Trump presidency.

If we are to be spared such travesties in the future, an example needs to be made of Andrew McCabe.  Now.
