“Good Muslims?”

Another day, another act of unimaginable barbarity by jihadists videotaped and disseminated to all of us. Yesterday, it was the Islamic State burning to death a captured Jordanian pilot.

Other images caught on film have been beheadings, stonings, crucifixions and mass executions at gunpoint. Generally unrecorded, but no less horrific, are the innumerable acts of female genital mutilation, other disfigurings, punitive amputations, lashings and honor killings.

What do all these have in common? They are all sanctioned by the supremacist Islamic doctrine of shariah. In fact, some experts call those who engage in such heinous behavior not extremists or radicals, but “good Muslims.”

Good people who are Muslim must join the rest of the civilized world in expressly repudiating shariah and its jihadism. Doing anything less implicates them in these crimes against humanity.
