“This was an attack on the world. Chinese officials admitted that COVID-19 was human-to-human transmissible only on January 20th. But doctors in Wuhan knew about that the second week of December, so Beijing knew about that shortly thereafter. Now, if China had said nothing about human-to-human transmissibility during that five and a half-week or so period, it would have been grossly irresponsible. But what China did was try and convince the world that it was not human-to-human transmissible and therefore healthcare officials around the world were lulled into not taking precautions that they otherwise would have adopted. To make this worse, China pressured countries around the world to not impose restrictions and quarantines from arrivals from China. So, this is how the disease spread.”
Gordon later explains how WHO contributed to the spread of China’s disinformation from the onset of the virus:
“The WHO on January 14 issued a tweet that based on information from China, there was no clear evidence of human-to-human transmissibility. Also, the WHO on January 10 issued a statement criticizing countries for imposing travel restrictions, saying that they shouldn’t do that. Also, the WHO blessed China’s low infection and death statistics, which made the disease appear to be not that important and unlikely to snowball into a pandemic.”
Why is the WHO the arbiter of what is approvable content on social media platforms?
“This is a US issue. YouTube management needs to be severely criticized for elevating WHO sentiments as being the only official truth. When we look at the WHO, it was complicit in this deliberate spread of coronavirus. We don’t know what was in Xi Jinping’s mind, only he does. But if after seeing all of the disease in China and how it crippled his own society, if he wanted to level the playing field by spreading the disease elsewhere, he would’ve done what he in fact did do. This leads us to believe- and we can infer- that this was a vicious attack on the rest of the world. This is a crime against all of humanity.”
