Gov. Christie Sees-No-Shariah

Responding to Barack Obama’s visit Wednesday to an Islamic supremacist, shariah-adherent mosque in Baltimore, New Jersey governor and Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie boasted yesterday on Fox News about his ability to do what the President doesn’t: Reject “radical Islamic jihadists” while embracing “peaceful, America-loving” ones.

For those who have followed Gov. Christie’s career, this statement is as ironic as it is misleading. From his days as a U.S. Attorney who sent his deputy to serve as a character witness for a jihadist another federal agency was trying to deport, to his ongoing efforts to romance Islamic supremacists in “mosques across America,” the governor has actually erred again and again.

Worse yet, Chris Christie has repeatedly – and petulantly – denounced those who have pointed out his faulty judgment about Islamic supremacism.

Truly peaceful, America-loving Muslims reject shariah. So must our President.
