The mourning continues in Brussels for those lost there this week to jihadist attacks. European security expert Michel Gurfinkiel told me yesterday that authorities there are now expecting a wave of such violence across the continent, perhaps occurring simultaneously to maximize the terrifying effect.

Already, the State Department has warned Americans about traveling to that part of the Free World. The question occurs: Are we safer here and, if so, for how much longer?

With the FBI pursuing 1,000 ISIS-related cases in every state, there is obviously a threat in this country, too. Add suspected al Qaeda, Hezbollah and Hamas cells, possibly supported here – as in Europe – by Muslim Brotherhood mosques, front groups and other infrastructure, and you have a significant prospect of jihadism in America.
