Donald Trump’s and my friend, Jeanine Pirro, has become beloved by millions of Americans for the straight-talking monologues that lead her Fox News weekend program, “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” Last Saturday’s was no exception. She called for House Speaker Paul Ryan to resign in the wake of his failure to produce the oft-promised repeal of Obamacare. Interestingly, President Trump urged people to watch this particular show.

I am no expert on health care. But it strains credulity that a man who has been deeply immersed in the problems with Obama’s destruction of one-sixth of the U.S. economy could inadvertently make such a mess of both the substance and the mechanics of the needed corrective action.

I observed shortly after the election that Trump must have reliable congressional leaders. That will be even more the case in the wake of the Ryancare fiasco.
