Karen Siegemund – Hero of Conscience

Last night, the president of the American Freedom Alliance was honored in Los Angeles as a Hero of Conscience for her leadership of that important organization and for suffering the consequences of its truth-telling and political incorrectness.

In May, Dr. Karen Siegemund’s organization hosted a conference on “The Long March Through the Institutions.” It examined the Left’s efforts to penetrate and dominate academia, the media, popular culture and government –  institutions that define our society.

Dr. Siegemund observed, “Each of us here believes in the unparalleled force for good that is Western Civilization – that is our heritage, whether we were born here or not.” The next day, she lost her main job teaching in an elite high school on the preposterous grounds that defending our civilization is unacceptable.

Karen Siegemund is a hero who should be promoted, not punished, for championing Western civilization.
