Keep the CCP out of the Thrift Savings Plan

Next week, the U.S. Senate has an opportunity to prevent the pension funds of federal government employees – past and present, military and civilian – from being invested in companies controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

The National Defense Authorization Act is must-pass legislation that would be a perfect vehicle for such a prohibition, provided Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will allow it to be put up for a vote.

We’re entitled to know where legislators stand because they are participants in the Thrift Savings Plan. If Senators don’t act to keep their money and others’ out of the hands of the CCP, they must be okay with underwriting our mortal enemy.

Don’t want your representatives sending taxpayer funds they earn to Communist China? Then, take action at NoTSPfortheCCP.us, urging them to make it illegal and ensure that others won’t do it either.
