President Obama clearly has been stung by criticism that his doctrine has emboldened our enemies, undermined our friends and diminished our countries. He has spent the past few days in Afghanistan, Washington and West Point trying to spin his failures into a coherent, visionary – and robust – foreign policy agenda.

That dawg won’t hunt.

With over two years to go on his administration’s tenure, Mr. Obama’s legacy is already clear. Even using a test he himself laid out yesterday at the U.S. Military Academy – namely, “we must not create more enemies than we take off the battlefield” – he has abjectly failed. In fact, his drone strikes have killed a fraction of the number of jihadists that are now trying to kill us across the Mideast, Central and South Asia and Africa.
