Yesterday, the battlelines on the Obamabomb deal were redrawn, with potentially far-reaching effect.

Hillary Clinton declared that she supported the deal, but would go to war if it didn’t stop Iran from pursuing the bomb. We learned yesterday, however, that she was directly involved in the abandonment of longstanding U.S. and UN requirements that Iran give up give up its ability to enrich uranium. With that capability legitimated, Iran will remain in the nuclear bomb-building business, contemptuously undeterred by Mrs. Clinton’s latest posturing. She’s been made.

Meanwhile, opponents of the deal rallied on Capitol Hill and prevented the House Republican leadership from conducting the symbolic, but ineffectual, vote against the Obamabomb that it had planned for this week. A real repudiation of the Obama-Clinton deal is now expected. Senators must do it, too.
