Stop Incentivizing Iranian Aggression by Stopping the Obamabomb Deal
On the day after Christmas, an Iranian gunship in the Persian Gulf fired missiles near the U.S. aircraft carrier Harry Truman. This was not the first time Iran’s navy has engaged in such provocative behavior close by American warships.
It is, however, the first occasion this sort of belligerency has occurred since the Obama administration completed its so-called nuclear “deal” with the mullahs – an accord that was supposed to set the stage for reduced tensions between our two nations.
If the Iranians feel free to act in ways that could give rise to miscalculations and possibly to bloodshed before – pursuant to that deal – they get as much as $150 billion in unfrozen assets, imagine what they’d be prepared to do after they receive that windfall, possibly as early as next week.
We must not find out. Stop the deal, now.
