Eleven Republican Senators voted yesterday for Iran to get the Bomb.

Oh, they won’t admit to doing so. But that’s the practical effect of their vote against Senator Ron Johnson’s amendment to require that the agreement supposed to prevent that outcome take the form of a treaty.

If it doesn’t, the Senate will be reduced to a rubber-stamp for whatever President Obama serves up. That ensures it will be an accord that legitimates – not prevents – Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

The eleven Senators’ appalling lack of courage contrasts sharply to the fortitude of someone visiting Capitol Hill today: Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders.

Jihadists want to murder him for his indefatigable resistance to Iranian and others’ supremacist Islam. I’d trade all of the odious eleven for one Geert Wilders in the Senate today.
