We can’t afford to defund the military
In recent weeks, insistent demands from the Marxist Black Lives Matter organization and its sympathizers to “defund the police” have contributed to the breakdown of law and order and an upsurge of violent and destructive chaos across the country.
In recent weeks, insistent demands from the Marxist Black Lives Matter organization and its sympathizers to “defund the police” have contributed to the breakdown of law and order and an upsurge of violent and destructive chaos across the country.
Now, radical leftists want us to defund the U.S. military. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer – who may shortly be running the place – has endorsed their demands for an arbitrary ten percent cut in Pentagon funds, with the savings reallocated to housing and health care. Sound familiar?
We live in a world of hurt. Enemies abound and have been emboldened by what they perceive as our preoccupation with various domestic crises. If you think an America without police is a formula for disaster, think about what our planet looks like without a powerful America.
