Why Trump Must Just Say No to the Obamabomb Deal

Arguably, Barack Obama’s single worst foreign policy legacy was the so-called “political understanding” that he claimed would end, or at least postpone, Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons.

An important new paper by the Center for Security Policy’s Clare Lopez illuminates the myriad ways in which Iran is violating the letter and the spirit of this unsigned, unratified Obamabomb deal.  The worst of it is that Team Obama gave the mullahs everything they wanted up front, including the transfer of some $150 billion dollars – without waiting to see if Iran complied.

If the President’s malfeasant National Security Advisor, H.R. McMaster, has his way, the United States will keep legitimating and abiding by its obligations under Obama’s deal.  But if President Trump decides otherwise, it can be the beginning of the end for the mullahs and their nuclear ambitions.
