Tomorrow is Armed Forces Day, when we are asked to honor those who put their lives on the line for the rest of us.  The least we can do is thank a serviceman or woman.  But honestly, that’s something we should all do every day.

Here’s something else we should resolve to do, on this occasion and from now on: Tell our elected representatives to really support the troops.  That means ensuring that they have the weapons, other equipment and training they need to secure our freedom. And we must stop subjecting the military to social experimentation that burdens its personnel with politically driven agendas and distracts them from their vital missions.

We live in dangerous times.  Let’s do our part for those who stand between us and such dangers.
