FREEDOM FLAME AWARD

In 1992, the Center for Security Policy added the Freedom Flame Award as a vehicle for recognizing those who have exemplified the practice of peace through strength in the service of preserving freedom, here and abroad. We are pleased this year to honor Governor Ron DeSantis for his tireless advocacy on behalf of America’s serving military personnel and veterans, his commitment to the security of America’s strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel, and his faithfulness in defending our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. (For a list of previous honorees, please visit Freedom Flame Award.)

MIGHTIER PEN AWARD

The Mightier Pen Award was launched in 2001 in recognition of individuals who have, through their published writings, contributed to the public’s appreciation of the imperative for the United States to pursue “peace through strength” national security policies and capabilities indispensable to protecting our homeland and advancing our vital interests. Christopher Ruddy, the founder and Chairman of Newsmax, has proven with his courageous use of the pen and virtually every other communications media the spirit and skill this award extols.( For a list of previous honorees, please visit Mightier Pen Award.)
