Obama’s Day of Infamy

Seventy-two years to the day after Japan’s surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, President Obama launched one of his own.  He announced that he envisions a final nuclear deal with Iran in which it will be able to enrich uranium.

Mr. Obama has thus unilaterally abandoned the requirement set by the UN Security Council seven years ago that Iran give up this critical path to a nuclear weapon. That compounds the damage done by his so-called “interim deal” which he fraudulently claims “freezes” Iran’s nuclear program, when it does not.

If the result of all this is that Iran gets the bomb and then uses it – perhaps against Israel, perhaps against us – President Obama will have perpetrated an act of infamy worse than the one that propelled the United States into World War II.
