Breaking the Military We Have

For the past five years, the Obama administration has engaged in what can only be called a “wrecking operation” against the U.S. military.

It has cut the resources available to equip and train the troops and fired many top warriors.

And it has engaged in demoralizing and disruptive social engineering by allowing homosexuals and perhaps transgender individuals to serve, and clearing women for frontline combat positions.

Now, the White House wants the Pentagon to say it’s “vital to national security” to open the ranks to illegal aliens.

Taken together, such steps risk breaking the all-volunteer force.

Enemies of the United States are watching these developments closely. They can only be emboldened – and war made more likely – if they perceive our military is no longer a deterrent to their aggressive designs.
