The New Leader of the Free World

Today, the leader of the Free World will be addressing freedom-loving people everywhere from a bully pulpit in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, that leader is no longer Barack Obama.

Instead, it is Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel. He will be speaking from the podium of a Joint Session of Congress. And he will be telling the truth about the existential threat facing the Free World – including his country and ours – from a nuclear-armed Iran.

Bibi’s speech is critically needed because of the failure of leadership Mr. Obama has displayed in his stated goal of preventing the emergence of that threat. Unless we follow Mr. Netanyahu’s lead, rather than the seductive enabling of Iran inherent in our President’s diplomacy, the Free World – and each of us – will be imperiled.
