The Trump administration has made huge strides in restoring ties with Israel frayed during Barack Obama’s eight-year wrecking operation – capped by his parting diplomatic attacks and $200 million gift to the Jewish State’s Palestinian enemies.

But those opposed to such a rapprochement are insisting that President Trump renege on his promise to relocate the U.S. embassy to Israel’s capital, Jerusalem.  They threaten more of the radical Islamic terrorism Mr.   Trump has vowed to “eradicate from the face of the earth” if he doesn’t relent.  If the President capitulates, however, one thing is sure: Sharia-supremacists – among other adversaries – will perceive him as having submitted to such enemy extortion, a sure-fire formula for more violent jihad.

Mr. President, this is a prime opportunity to demonstrate your trademark Trump decisiveness. Just declare our existing consulate in Jerusalem the U.S. Embassy.  And do it now.
