Alejandro Mayorkas, human Piñata

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas will resume today on Capitol Hill the role he played yesterday as a human piñata pummeled by critics on both sides of the aisle frantic about the wrecking operation that passes for the Biden administration’s immigration policy.

Its dismantling of so-called “Title 42” will soon see 18,000 aliens illegally entering our country every day. In response to that prospect, Secretary Mayorkas blithely claimed, “We are preparing. We are implementing our plans. We are intensifying our efforts.” Actually, the plan is nothing more than to ensconce those invaders across our country as quickly as possible.

If congressional Republicans gain a majority in November, it will be substantially due to the immense harm being done to public health, public safety and the national security by the Biden-Mayorkas team. They deserve to be impeached for it – and surely will be.
