Biden's 'Scandalous' Truth-Telling - Center for Security Policy

Vice President Joe Biden is like the proverbial broken clock: He’s right twice a day. When Biden is right though, he has to apologize for it.

At least that’s what he has lately had to do for telling the truth about several of our so-called allies in President Obama’s failing effort to “defeat and ultimately destroy” the jihadists doing business as the Islamic State.

The Veep told a Harvard audience recently that Turkey had admitted allowing such terrorists to cross into Syria. He said that the United Arab Emirate and Saudi Arabia had been arming the Islamic State’s fellow jihadists doing business as al Qaeda’s al Nusra Front.

The scandal is not that Joe Biden gave offense by his truth-telling. The scandal is the truth about such false friends.
