If Donald Trump wins this Fall, it will probably be due substantially to his determination to stop importing additional jihadists. That common sense stance is overwhelmingly popular, and sharply contrasts with President Obama’s.

Indeed, just yesterday, the White House announced that Mr. Obama would be seeking to add 110,000 refugees – an increase of 29% including 11,000 from war-torn Syria, among them unknown numbers of actual – or potential – jihadists. That’s because the FBI Director has said they can’t be properly vetted. Team Obama’s response? It cut the time for doing so from eighteen months to just three.

Its goal seems to be, as ever, “fundamentally transforming America,” without regard for the implications for national security or public safety.

That position has been rejected by Donald Trump. And it seems likely to be by the American people, come November.
